ABOUT

Formed in 2017 by singer/guitarist/songwriter, Ella Marston, Nightfly is a 4-piece heavy hitting post-grunge rock band with a high energy stage presence and a passion for music. The band consists of Dillon Bunn on guitar, Rich Heinzenberger on bass, Chris Potocik on drums, and Ella Marston on vocals/guitar. They began their journey playing at open mic nights around town, eventually establishing themselves as a well known and loved Knoxville band. They have shared the stage with nationally-renowned bands and artists such as The Dead Deads, Lillith Czar, Smile Empty Soul, and former lead singer of Mötley Crüe, John Corabi.

They describe their sound as post-grunge rock/metal, and have a full catalog of original songs. They also occasionally throw a few fan-favorite cover songs into their set, such as The Pretender, by the Foo Fighters, and Dragula, by Rob Zombie.

The band describes their biggest influences as the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Tool, Deftones, and Soundgarden.

Most recently, the band has been busy self-recording and producing their debut album.
